Carola has come out of hiding following Andra Chansen (don't mention the word Nordman!) and has performed at a concert in Sweden. Great to see you back Carola. Whatever anyone says I for one would love to see you back on the Melodifestivalen and Eurovision stage again. 2008 was probably a bit premature but give it time and we could get an Invincible part 2!
Meanwhile Kikki has had to cancel shows due to illness and is recovering at home! Hit the vitamin C Kikki! Get well soon.

As I reported here two weeks ago Ms. Perelli added some sparkle to the Beijing games by performing 'Hero' or 'Ying Yiong' in Chinese!
Charlotte spoke highly of her experience and when interviewed by Expressen stated that 'When I got to the key change the audience rose and applauded'! I love it!
Nothing like a key change to distract from the intense competition and doping scandals!

Charlotte Perrelli and Pernilla Wahlgren were papped over the weekend having drinks in Stockholm haunt Berns.
Apparently since Charlotte split from her husband they have cemented their friendship. They enjoyed sushi and pink champagne before Charlotte flies out to Beijing today. No doubt they had a good man bashing session!

Eurovision 2005 entrant Javine has been at the center of a violent bust up this week with her So Solid Crew boyfriend MC Harvey. Last week it emerged that Javine had been forced to call police when Harvey threatened her physically. It was alleged that the rapper waved a knife at her.
According to reports Harvey went 'berserk' after Javine threw all of his clothes out of their north London home when he failed to return from a night of drinking.
Police cautioned Harvey and it emerged that the Eurovision star decided not to press more serious charges and he has now returned to the home they share with their six month old daughter, Angel.
He is bad news Javine. Get out now!

According to a Swedish newspaper Mans Zelmerlow is certain to enter Melodifestivalen 2009.
His only concern is that he needs to find a song that is just as strong as the wonderful 'Cara Mia' which he credits for launching his career.
He even goes on to say that what was bad for the Ark was good for him oh er!

Schlagerpride 2008 provided all schlager addicts with a very impressive line up. Charlotte, Euroband, Sanna, Linda (with new locks!), Velvet, Lotta, Hansson and Carson, Dana International and many more!
Lena Ph was looking particularly fabulous as she strutted her way around the stage manoeuvring that microphone stand as only she would know how!
Look out for the glitter explosion at 7.35! I so wish I had been there but not to worry, maybe next year! For those who did make it what did you think? Who was fabulous? Who was shit?
I am packing for 4 nights in Prague and I am very excited! Back on Tuesday :)

Andy Abraham has quit the music business and is blaming Eurovision for his failure!! First it was Terry's accusations of racism and now this!
The real reason is that you were not the right choice to represent the U.K. and your song was a weak and forgettable entry and placing blame on the Eurovision audience for your whole career going downhill is totally deluded!
It made me laugh though!

Charlotte Perrelli, LaGaylia Frazer and Jessica Andersson are off to Beijing for the Olympic games!
They are going at the request of Robert Wells. Wells' music was chosen as the official television theme music for the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing.
Could we see Charlotte head rolling and LaGaylia dancing around to 'Dr. Frankenstein' around Tiananmen square? Fantastic!
