The fantastic Alcazar and BWO will be one of the final acts to perform at Astoria before it is no more :( Andreas is really rocking those leather pants though!
According to a survey in Gazeta Wyborcza on Polish dreams for the future 15% of Poles say winning the Eurovision would be their dream. It's fantastic to know people feel like this and I am sure Warsaw would give us a great contest. Isis was a big favourite of mine this year and deserved to be much higher up on the scoreboard. Another favouite of mine from this years Piosenka dla Europy was looking through her window Sandra Oxendry with her camp as knickers 'Superhero'. Come back next year Sandra, we love you!
I have just discovered this song from Rachel at Work Your Magic and it is something feel good for your Wednesday. The lyrics might be a bit naff eg. 'I need a sink' hmm! but I reckon Marie needs to be first on stage at Melodifestivalen 2009 with a Lord G'Son stomper! She kind of reminds me of Tereza 'Have Some Fun' but with better vocals and no creepy DJ in the background!
